- Accredited Degree Granting Institutions: US universities and two- and four-year colleges (including community and technical colleges) accredited in, and having a campus located in the US ... academic institutions. The lead (submitting) organization must be an academic institution.
- At least two or more existing small businesses (as defined by the Small Business Administration (SBA)) must participate in the PFI proposal.
- Awards may be up to $600,000 with an award duration of two or three years.
