Colleagues,

As reported in Washington Business Journal...CACI International Inc. has been awarded a contract that would greatly expand its support of the U. S. Army's simulation training programs.

Arlington-based CACI (NYSE:CAI) announced Wednesday that it received one of 118 prime awards under an umbrella contract of the Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training, and Instrumentation with an overall ceiling value of $17.5 billion. CACI’s award has a three-year base period and seven one-year option periods.

"CACI is very pleased that this new award expands our strong relationship with the Army's Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training, and Instrumentation,” said CACI President of U.S. Operations Bill Fairl. “It offers a key opportunity to enhance support for the vital missions the program provides for warfighters."

CACI has been active in the simulation and training business for 46 years. The latest award will support Department of Defense simulation, training, and testing that should help warfighters in all services hone their skills and rehearse their missions.
