As reported in CIMIT News ... The Association for Advancement of Medical Instrumentation recently announced that Julian M. Goldman, MD, is the 2009 recipient of the AAMI Foundation/Institute for Technology in Health Care Clinical Application Award.
The AAMI Foundation/Institute for Technology and Healthcare Clinical Application Award is given to an individual (CE, BMET, physician, nurse, hospital administrator, etc.) who has applied innovative clinical engineering practices or principles in order to solve one or more significant clinical patient care problems or challenges facing a patient population, community, or group.
Dr. Goldman was honored for his work with interoperability and founding of the Medical Device Plug-and-Play (MD PnP) Interoperability Program.
