Dear Paul, I am a Banner Health physician with offices in Scottsdale and Sedona. I have developed an Expert System for Computerized Clinical Decision Support of initial interview, workup and clinical Triage of unknown patients. McGill University Faculty of Nursing has adapted my CDS for their Telenursing project to service remote regions of Canada - then, hopefully deploy internationally. Currently it is staffed by an experienced Telenursing professor and Trauma surgeon. Although the nearby tragedy of Natasha Richardson has provided some traction in Quebec, funding for such projects are very scarce and restrictive in Canada. Therefore, in order to proceed, we are in need of R&D funding. Can you advise? I would very much appreciate the opportunity to meet with you here in Phoenix. My phone number is 602 349 0025. Thank you much, John Liebert, MD

Dear Paul:
I would like to participate in your WBT Showcase next March. My company, NeuroDx Development, is developing a non-invasive Intracranial Pressure monitor - a device which can detect traumatic brain injury and other brain conditions. DCN (Julie Evans) helped us prepare our Phase 2 SBIR submission to the NSF - which focuses on civilian applications for the device. Conrad Clyburn and other MedTech IQ members have been helping us seek DoD support for military applications of the technology.
By the middle of next year, we should be ready for investor funding - so your March timing would be good timing for us.
What is involved in applying for and participating in the WBT program?
Thanks
Fred
