Linux Under Assault (By Guess Whom)

It had been at least 24 hours without a new Microsoft law suit. Well, they're at it again in classic Microsoft fashion with minions of attorneys trying legal intimidation to suppress anything NIH (not invented here). This time, they're suing Tom-Tom. DoD "Opens" Up

Under the auspices of its Chief Information Officer, the DoD will shortly release an important department-wide memorandum clarifying policy on open-source as part of 'acceptable' DoD software. Though the details have not been divulged, the essence of the new guidelines have been released. See article for more specifics.
