Former NIH director Elias Zerhouni joins Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation

As reported reported in GenomeWeb...Former NIH director Elias Zerhouni joined the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation as a senior fellow, reports the Lancet. Zerhouni will be working on the foundation's Grand Challenges in Global Health program. $10B Marked for NIH (National Institutes of Health) in Final U.S. Stimulus Bill for Full Vote

As reported by GenomeWeb News...The House of Representatives will soon vote on the latest draft of a $789.5 billion stimulus package that contains $10 billion in funding for the National Institutes of Health.
