Haiti Day 6: Search for Renewable Energy Pioneer Continues

Dr. James Laws heads a group of people that are descending on Haiti in an attempt to find Renewable-energy pioneer Walt Ratterman. Ratterman was staying in Port-au-Prince, Haiti's capital city. Ratterman is CEO and co-founder of SunEnergy Power International. He was in Haiti working on a project to improve the delivery of energy to health care facilities. Personal Comments: Mr Ratterman is a larger-than-life character in the humanitarian aid community, cut from the same mold as my hero and role-model, Fred Cuny. A real "field person". On-the-ground. No-nonsense. Get the job done. We can ill-afford to lose great ones like Walt.Views: 8
