Job Listing: Project Manager (PM) position to plan and manage the delivery of business solutions
Title: Project Manager
Reports to: President and Chief Scientific Officer.
Based at: Health Analytics, LLC , Columbia, MD
Job purpose:
The primary purpose of the Project Manager (PM) position is to plan and manage the delivery of business solutions in the form of client project completion. This includes project planning, estimating, execution, implementation and ongoing support. Individual will work closely with the CSO to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of project methods that are deployed.
The PM coordinates all resources in order to execute projects as detailed in the project protocol, within budget and time projections. The PM reports directly to the Chief Scientific Officer (CSO) for content and scientific procedure related issues and to the Director of Operations for all administrative matters. The position will also be responsible for project support staff development and vendor relationship management.
The PM manages the Project Team and its team members for all project-related activity. Most projects will minimally require a Data Analyst (DA), a Production Assistant (PA), and a Research Assistant (RA). The project protocol describes the jobs of each of these team members.
In addition to managing project teams, the PM has some administrative responsibilities as required by the CSO. One administrative function is management of all company Research Assistants.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
1.Project planning, estimating, tracking and management
2.Working closely with the business functional areas, and external customers and vendors in defining project priorities, scope, approach, resource requirements, timing of deliverables and funding
3.Provide leadership and direction to the operations staff
4.Review and comment on all project protocols, documents, and deliverables.
5.Identify resources as needed for contract fulfillment
6.Assist interviewing and hiring staff
7.Manage resources to meet deliverable timelines within budget using project management tools and software
8.Ensure that all client deliverables meet or exceed quality standards as described in company policy
9.Interact with clients including consulting at an hourly rate as well as pro-bono (e.g., lead qualification)
