Thanks for the link CC.
Unfortunately, these apps, which happen to run on iPads, aren't likely to be noticed by those in healthcare, much less change the way healthcare is practiced. These apps simply run on a tablet, and many other healthcare apps have run on many other tablets from other manufacturers. Our group worked on some about a decade ago. What might improve healthcare is a system that integrates what tablets offer (portability, for now, a 'wow' factor, etc.) with real healthcare needs. I haven't seen it yet.

I agree. I share these posts to keep the membership up to date on latest developments. But, strategically I agree with Jon Linkous, CEO, ATA on the proliferation of new medical technology thru solid workflow analysis backed by solid business models.
