HIMSS Policy Summit 2009

With the nationwide emphasis on the role of information technology in healthcare transformation and the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, there has never been a better time to become better educated and engage with your elected officials on health IT policy. Health IT advocates from across the nation will descend on our nation’s capital during National Health IT Week September 21 -25, 2009. The corner stone event and highly-anticipated HIMSS 8th Annual Policy Summit will be held September 22-23, 2009. This year’s Policy Summit includes several new and exciting programs: HIMSS Health IT "Prep Rally" and Networking Reception, HIMSS Policy Summit, and HIMSS Health IT Advocacy on the Hill and National Health IT Week Reception.
