India's 1st International Conference on Transforming Healthcare with Information Technology

ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

In an effort to contribute to this global cause of addressing the literal healthcare jigsaw, Apollo Group along with the consortium partners TCS and CISCO is organizing a conference on ‘Transforming Healthcare with IT’ from the 8th to 10th March 2010 at New Delhi. This endeavor is supported by the industry partners HIMSS, CII-India Healthcare Federation and several other wings of Indian Government establishment.

This conference brings all the healthcare eco-system players on a global platform to participate, propagate and promote the various technology-driven transformational approaches, solutions and their benefits to the grassroots, administrators, providers, and research community etc. to find the ways to achieve the goal of equitable, sustainable, quality healthcare system. Global experiences prompt us to embark on disruptive innovation models to address challenges by creating ‘an Equitable, Sustainable, Quality Healthcare System for Billions of Lives’. Invariably, such models take advantage of the technology to foster an efficient and effective eco-system transforming the healthcare landscape.

The conference is a 3-day event comprising of key-notes, plenary sessions, workshops, demos showcasing the Healthcare, IT and Telecom convergence-driven, transformational solutions. This is the first major international conference, in this part of the world, where the application of technology convergence in healthcare is addressed. The conference brings all the healthcare eco-system players together on a global platform and aims to:
