 f Health, will focus on mobile technologies as a platform for health r

 h Summit\n\nThe two-day event will explore the role of biomedical rese
 arch as the driver for the development of compelling applications base
 d on mobile technology. The Summit will bring together 450 to 600 U.S.
  and international researchers, technology experts, and policymakers i
 n the public sector, as well as those from academia, industry, and NGO
 s to:\n\n* Assess current policies regarding mobile health technologie
 s and their use in reducing or eliminating domestic and global health 
 disparities\n* Build bridges between the scientific community and mobi
 le technology developers to identify mHealth solutions\n* Highlight sc
 ientific opportunities and challenges in using mobile technologies to 
 improve public health\n* Discuss and craft a vision for the developmen
 t and use of mobile technologies in the future\n\nThe agenda will incl
 ude several case study tracks, as well as panel discussions that addre
 ss broad themes related to mobile technologies as tools for research a
 nd improving health. The mHealth Summit program committee has announce
 d a call for presentations and is seeking case studies that describe c
 urrent or completed research projects using mobile technologies to imp
 rove research data collection, healthcare delivery, health outcomes, a
 nd/or health and science education. All NIH Institutes and Centers are
  strongly urged to encourage researchers from their intramural and ext
 ramural communities to submit presentation abstracts.\n\nCurrent partn
