 cent developments in the Rorschach Inkblot method, specifically in ter
 ms of (a) its current research base, (b) comparison between the Compre
 hensive System and the Rorschach Performance Assessment System (R-PAS)
 , and (c) considerations in selecting appropriate normative data.The w
 ebinar will provide a brief review of several aspects of contemporary 
 Rorschach research, including interrater and test-retest reliability, 
 as well as validity. In addition, you may be unsure about the specifi
 c differences between Exner's Comprehensive System (CS) and R-PAS. Thi
 s webinar will detail several key differences between these two Rorsch
 ach systems and the implications of these differences. Selection of a
 ppropriate normative data is crucial for interpreting Rorschach result
 s. Without normative data, clinicians and researchers are unable to de
 termine whether the results of a particular Rorschach variable are con
 sidered to be within normal limits, higher than expected, or lower tha
 n expected. There are several norms available for Exner's Comprehensiv
 e System, as well as norms for R-PAS. A number of considerations will
  be reviewed in deciding which norms to use and how to use them once a
  particular set of norms have been selected. Even if one selects one o
 f the available norms for Exner's comprehensive system, a number of op
 tions are available in selecting appropriate cutoff scores. In additio
 n, two sets of normative data have recently been presented by Choca an
 d colleagues, making the selection of norms a thorny issue for practit
 ioners and researchers. This webinar will provide an overview of the r
 elevant issues to consider in selecting normative data for interpretiv
