SUMMARY:Webinar on Successful Health Care Systems Implementation Proce
 ss
DESCRIPTION:Training Options Duration: 60 Minutes Tuesday, July 18, 20
 17 | 10:00 AM PDT | 01:00 PM EDT\nOverview: The presentation takes the
participant through the steps needed to ensure a successful health ca
re computer system implementation. Once presented the participant will
see the logic of the tools and processes and be able to apply them to
their system implementation. The tools and processes presented in thi
s material have been developed by implementing health care systems for
over 40 years and seeing what has worked and WHY it has worked. These
tools and processes have been equally and successfully applied to the
implementation of large, complex systems and smaller, simpler systems
for large, multidepartment organizations and for small health care or
ganizations.\nThe process focuses on establishing the project's implem
entation expectations, identifying meaningful metrics for success, est
ablishing project plans, assigning individual accountabilities and res
ponsibilities, establishing and executing project tasks, monitoring pr
oject progress and validating project success.\nTo establish viable pr
oject expectations, the presentation addresses the need for bringing a
ll of the stakeholders (organization owners, providers and management,
operations staff, IT staff and the vendor) into establishing common a
nd realizable expectations. These are reviewed in context of the organ
ization's current environment and its short and long term goals and ar
e considered as a critical part of the implementation completion proce
ss. In the case of turning around an already troubled or failed system
implementation, the process emphasizes the tasks of reassessing the p
roject stakeholder expectations - why they decided the system would he
lp the organization and what they expected to get from the system.\n\n
\nWhy should you Attend: Everyone has heard the horror stories of comp
uter system implementations that have gone wrong. The goal is to learn
from the mistakes made by those health care organizations and to take
advantage of the processes that avoid those problems and repeatedly l
ead to successful implementations.\n\nAreas Covered in the Session:\nT
he attributes of a successful system implementationWhy implementations
fail and how to avoid these problemsHow to develop successful impleme
ntation expectations by all stakeholdersHow to convert the successful
implementation expectations into measurable metricsEstablishing projec
t plans - identifying the resources needed for the project and schedul
ing tasksWhat is good data and the role of the conversion processDevel
oping manual support proceduresHow to establish processes for addressi
ng problems and conflicts that occur during the projectHow to monitor
the progress of the project and identify when problems occur and have
processes for addressing the problemsSystem testing and validationThe
role out - live use of the system - actual startupHow to know when the
project is completedHow to apply these processes to a system implemen
tation that has failed\nWho Will Benefit:Chief Executive OfficerChief

 - in identifying their automation requirements and helping these organ
izations select and successfully implement the automation most applica
 ble for their needs.\nPrice: $139.00\nContact Info:Netzealous -MentorH
