The Cutting Edge of Medical Technology Content, Community & Collaboration
Dear friends and colleagues,
It is April and all around us things are starting to bloom, so as we "spring" into 2010, I wanted to send you a personal note to let you know about the exciting news we've had this past fall/winter ... I am especially proud of some of this past year's highlights:
* Radiology contract renewals and expansion within the existing contracts continue to make CAMRIS one of the largest teleradiology groups servicing our nation’s veterans. All of our sites renewed due to 100% coverage and our ability to place “signed” final reports in the VA system.
* Participation in the USAID Global Health Technical Assistance (GH Tech) Project has expanded to more than 40 countries
\
* Participation in the USAID MEASURE Project has expanded to include Knowledge Management work ...
* CAMRIS received a Knowledge Management contract from the Army supporting the Surface Deployment
and Distribution Command...
es. * Continued supporting Foreign Media Open Source Intelligence efforts in support of the US Strategic
Command
New contracts with USAID include:
1.TASC III Task Order to conduct an evaluation of the health communities program in the Health Office that Peru Mission supports.
2.TASC III Task Order to perform monitoring and evaluation services for additional programs in the Health Office that Peru Mission supports.

3.A new contract with the Navy Medical Research Command and their Detachment in Lima, Peru makes CAMRIS a key participant in the global war against influenza. CAMRIS will be conducting influenza surveillance and capacity building activities across South America in
close coordination with the Center for Disease Control and the Pan-American
Health Organization.
4.CAMRIS will manage a clinical trial of a new H1N1 vaccine under a new contract with the Navy Medical Research Command and the Detachment in Lima, Peru.
