WBT 2010: MedTech-IQ member Angel, Venture, Strategic Corporate Investment Information

The annual WBT (World's Best Technologies) Showcase is being planned for next Spring, March 16-17, 2010. Currently, the Showcase organizer, DCN (Development Capital Networks), is looking for companies & technologies to feature. The WBT Showcase has developed into one of the nation's premier events showcasing vetted and mentored companies/technologies emanating from top universities, labs, research institutions, and the private sector and connecting them with angels, venture capitalists and strategic corporate investors.
DCN is run by MedTech-IQ members, Paul Hulaett and Amanda Radovic.
MedTech-IQ member Dan Loague, Director of the non-profit Capital Formation Institute (CFI), is also making a related offer. If he deems a candidate to be especially attractive he will personally help them connect with VC and corporate investors as soon as WBT Showcase selects them, and will also help them connect at the 2010 WBT Showcase.
The WBT Showcase has traditionally had a high "hit rate'. According to DCN, in past years, up to 30% of their presenters close an angel, venture capital, strategic corporate and/or joint venture alliance within 12 months of the Showcase.
