Siemens Medical Secures $267 million Federal Contract for Medical-Imaging Devices

As reported in ADVAMED SmartBrief ... Siemens Medical Solutions USA Inc. has been awarded a contract to supply medical imaging equipment to the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and federal civilian agencies, the Defense Department said Tuesday.
The contract is for one year and allows the agencies named in the contract to buy up to $267 million of equipment from the Malvern, Pa.-based unit of Siemens AG (NYSE:SI).
