National Institutes of Health (NIH) Applications for $1.5 Billion in Recovery Act Funds Now Available

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) has announced that applications for a total of $1.5 billion in grants funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act are now available. U.S. Department of Health & Human Services (HHS) Sets Up Office to Manage Stimulus Funds

Study: Social networks overtake e-mail

As reported in the Washington Business Journal...Propelled by the growth of Facebook Inc. and LinkedIn Corp., social networks are now more popular than emailing on the internet, according to a Nielsen study. In fact, Facebook had a 168 percent increase in users, the study said, while Mountain View, Calif.-based LinkedIn had a 137 percent increase. The biggest growth spurt for Facebook has been in the category of users from 35 to 49 years of age.

Billions in U.S. stimulus money seen for technology
