Mirial, the company providing visual communication software platforms I work for, recently released a whitepaper called "An interactive Visual Communication Architecture for Telehealth", focusing on how to design, engineer and deploy a best-practice interactive visual communication architecture for Telehealth services.


I think this document is quite interesting because it describes not only the technical aspects but also many evaluation and planning activities needed before the actual deployment of the technology.

Thank you for the informative post. I might also suggest that you consider joining the 'telemedicine and eHealth" focus group at MedTech-IQ, http://medtechiq.ning.com/group/telemedicine. There you will find members specifically focused on telemedicine, and a link that members to send messages to all of the group.
