Washington Business Journal reports...Maryland is among the top five states in its progress advancing toward the “New Economy” — one based on innovation, creativity and technology — according to a study.
Massachusetts, Washington, Maryland, Delaware and New Jersey top The 2008 State New Economy Index, released Tuesday by the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation and the Information Technology and Innovation Foundation. Virginia was No. 7 on the list this year. D.C. was not included in the research.
