We are pleased to announce the initial program of the 19th "MMVR / NextMed" conference, now available for download at http://www.nextmed.com/mmvr_program.html . It includes the papers, posters, workshops, panels, and other activities accepted following this summer's Call for Presentations. Over three days, researchers will explore computer-enabled applications for medical diagnosis and therapy, education and procedural training, physical and psychological rehabilitation, intelligence networking, and ancillary topics.

Discounted conference registration is offered through Thursday, December 1, via http://www.nextmed.com/mmvr_confreg.html . Hotel rooms can be reserved at http://www.nextmed.com/mmvr_hotel.html .

Since its inception as "Medicine Meets Virtual Reality" in 1992, this international meeting has gathered scientists, physicians, engineers, educators, military, students, and others involved with medicine's future. Its curriculum has evolved beyond virtual reality: MMVR now presents a wide range of biomedical innovation. Visit http://www.nextmed.com/ for more details.
