Through the use of Ushahidi, Twitter and this solar powered communications soplution we also found target locations with critical needs for our water purification and food distribution efforts. The same unit also charged phones for 12 doctors and even ran two cooling fans in our mobile medical clinic deployments. The marketing of these rapidly deployable solar telemed units (on the for-profit side) is how we are generating financial support for increased humanitarian outreach (on the non-profit side). Please contact me via email or 928-595-1127 for more info. Thanks to Conrad and Medtech-IQ for the exposure here.
