My company, Visual Pathways, Inc. (visualpathways.com) has developed medical devices for the vision care industry...automated and unique products that enable deployment of these user-friendly devices to under and un-served populations...for early screening and detection of sight-threatening diseases. Conditiions such as Diabetic Retinopathy, Macular Degeneration, Glaucoma - can be detected by retinal imaging in remote locations and sent via telemedicine to vision care specialists for reading and interpretation of the images - for triage with the referring site. This is referrring to our ARIS (Automated Retinal Imaging System). We also have a fully automated, digital system to rapidly detect, quantify and document the severity of cataracts (the DigiCat Imager).
We are interested in engaging in a strategic partnership with an Indian company that can: a) Make an equity investment in our company, in return for; b) Marketing, sales, distribution rights for India; c) Possible manufacturing of some or all of our products for in-country sales and possible for export as well.
