One day in advance of the release of the T-Mobile G-1 phone, Google has divulged the complete Android platform source code via its participation in the Open Handset Alliance (OHA). Details are included in an eWeek article. Also read about Androids being tailored for social networks. Lastly, leave it to Google to tap into the "knowledge commons". Under its Android Developer Challenge, the company solicited applications based on the Android platform, and recently awarded $25K to each of the best 10 submissions. Only time will reveal their place in the market, but they all "peg" the meter for cool!
