As many of you know, there is a lot of buzz over Palm®'s anticipated update into the smartphone market. Dubbed the Pre™, it boasts unique features that are bound to give Apple®'s iPhone a run for it's money. Reports now suggest that Palm® will be the first to deploy wireless charging as a Pre™ option. Based on electromagnetic induction, this technology has, in fact, been available for some time. Many have questioned why it has taken so long for it to find its market niche. Palm®'s version is called 'Touchstone', and may very well pave the way for widespread commercialization of this useful feature. One thing seems beyond question ... for now at least, Palm® has got its mojo back.
