We would like to inform you that on Thursday, February 4, Dr. William Kennedy Smith and Hector Casanova, CP will depart for Haiti. They will
be working in coordination with the International Medical Groups (IMC), a global
humanitarian organization already on the ground. During this brief initial trip,
Dr. Smith and Mr. Casanova will assess the needs of those affected by the
earthquake in order to explore ways in which the CIR and iCons in Medicine can
provide support.

A preliminary plan of action has been developed, but will be revised upon the completion of the assessment within the next
week...
