Maryland gets $12.3M in stimulus funds for community health centers

As reported in the Baltimore Business Journal ... The White House has awarded nearly $12.3 million in federal stimulus grants to upgrade and expand 16 of Maryland’s community health centers.
The grants will be used to address immediate needs at the state’s community health centers, such as buying new equipment and increasing the access of health care to more Marylanders.
Nationwide, more than 650 health centers were awarded funds to purchase new equipment health IT systems.
