As reported in iHealthBeat...Research firm User Centric recently conducted an independent comparative usability study of Google and Microsoft's personal health record applications, Government Technology reports.
Google and Microsoft did not commission or participate in the study.
Study Details
The study included 30 participants who generally were new to PHR technology. The participants completed seven key tasks using Google Health and Microsoft HealthVault and provided qualitative feedback, ratings and preference data on five measures:
* Overall usability;
* Utility, or usefulness of features;
* Security;
* Privacy; and
* Trust.
