The Cutting Edge of Medical Technology Content, Community & Collaboration

2 Weeks Left to Apply to Present at the 2009 World's Best Technologies (WBT) Tshowcase

Colleagues,

As related by MedTechIQ member, Paul Huleatt, CEO, Development Capital Networks (DCN),...
Anyone can reserve a conference room and sell exhibit space. But if you are serious about connecting with investors and licensees, the WBTshowcase is a competitive, proven, and must-attend event.

Applications have now been received from over 37 states and 19 countries including submissions from Johns Hopkins, Auburn University, National Research Council Canada, Cornell University, Dublin Institute of Technology, Eastern Michigan University, Florida Institute of Technology and many spinout and private companies from around the world all seeking investment capital and/or licensing partners.

Preselected companies and technologies have already been drawn from an early applicant pool that included submissions from Ecole Polytechnique de Montreal, Dublin Institute of Technology, University of Waterloo, UT Southwestern, University of Alabama, Wisconsin Center for Space Automation and Robotics, DHS, EPA, NIH, NSF, and Oak Ridge National Laboratory, among others.

There is still time to submit prospective companies and/or technologies for the upcoming 2009 WBTshowcase - but the December 22 deadline is fast approaching. There is No Cost to Apply.

WBT is produced by DCN in cooperation with the Federal Laboratory Consortium for Technology Transfer (FLC), the National Association of Seed and Venture Funds (NASVF), and the Southeastern Universities Research Association (SURA).
