WOW! Even faster than expected, Google's open mobile architecture (Android), has shaken the folks at Apple who must see these new devices as the first real threat to iPhone hegemony in this market space. Apple just announced that it is dropping its NDA requirements for developers of already released iPhone software ... a bit confusing and I grant still a way from a completely open architecture, but every step counts.
