The Ministry of Defence, Malaysia is proud to be the host and organiser of the 38th World Congress
On Military Medicine 2009, at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC), from 4 - 9 October 2009.

Themed “Health Services Support in Operations”, the 38th WCMM 2009 program consists of:
• Plenary Sessions
• Round Table Discussions
• Oral Presentations
• Poster Presentation
The audience of the congress includes more than 1,000 military medical professionals and academia
from more than 100 countries. This biennially organized congress provides military medical personnel
and civilian members of the Armed Forces the opportunity to share their experiences, ideas and researches
with others. In addition to platform presentations, principal discussions, round table discussions and
oral communications, congress audience may also view posters exhibitions prepared by their peers.

All military medical professionals and academia are encouraged to submit abstracts. Selected papers
will be published in the International Review of the Armed Forces Medical Services, an official review
of the International Committee of Military Medicine.
