Dental Robotic Surgery

I have been reading about robotic surgery. It is really amazing how this is coming along. I have a friend who has had several dental procedures that are fairly extensive. He can only have them done at Indianapolis hospitals. I wonder if Dental insurance plans cover this type of surgery.
Anyway, I wonder as we move more toward more and more surgeries being done robotic-ally, will this lower the cost of procedures and maybe make this more accessible to smaller towns. I wonder if they will be able to transport the robot to another city and do multiple procedures while in that city.
Any thoughts about this?
