Former NIH director Elias Zerhouni joins Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation

As reported reported in GenomeWeb...Former NIH director Elias Zerhouni joined the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation as a senior fellow, reports the Lancet. Zerhouni will be working on the foundation's Grand Challenges in Global Health program. "I have had a long-standing commitment to reducing the burden of the many diseases suffered by the most vulnerable of us across the world," Zerhouni said in a statement.
