DoD "Opens" Up
Under the auspices of its Chief Information Officer, the DoD will shortly release an important department-wide memorandum clarifying policy on open-source as part of 'acceptable' DoD software. Though the details have not been divulged, the essence of the new guidelines have been released. See article for more specifics.
