Jerry, Great work! we are working with a core team of medical professionals and IT consultants addressing violence against women and children, including human trafficking; and now in Haiti, ie rape in the camps, post traumatic stress with new media. We have been asked to present a paper about ours for presentation to a very highly visible Med Tech Conference. We are applying for defense contracts. Contact us at KingofkingsNetwork@gmail.com or let us know how we may contact you to connect in some way. We are a lean, mean machine :} ....and hope to leverage what you are doing, to help children and women victims of violence. ML

Hello again,
Sheila Clyburn here...just checking in about usage of the Pamoja Mtaani video game for our Teen Health Expo on Saturday, May 16th.
If it's feasible at all, we'd greatly appreciate it. No pressure, just let me know. Thanks.

Hello Mr. Heneghan,
Recently I had the opportunity to view the video game Pamoja Mtaani.
As an adult advisor to a HIV & AIDS Teen Peer Educator group in Silver Spring, MD, I found the idea to be very novel and relevant.
We train youth ages 13-18 to go into their community with culturally competent methods of communicating a HIV & AIDS prevention message. This work is done locally at schools, churches, community centers etc. Internationally, we established partnerships with similar teen organizations in South Africa ie Jo'burg/Soweto,Pretoria, University of Venda and Ladysmith.

Most recently, our students participated in a digital video conference with their South African counterparts from Eesterrus and Mamelodi, subdivisions around Pretoria in an ongoing conversation about peer education efficacy, barriers, best practices etc.

I'm contacting you today re: our 3rd Annual Teen Health Expo, to be held at the University of Maryland, Ritchie Coliseum, Saturday, May 16, 2009. I would like to feature your video game, Pamoja Mtaani, as one of the presentations/opportunities for dialogue around HIV prevention.

We have a target audience of 1500 students 13-19 throughout the area.

I sent an email through the Virtual Heroes network, with little success.
Mr. Heneghan, I would love to discuss this with you further if at all possible.
What would be most convenient for you?

I can be contacted at 301-622-0066 H; 301-779-4252 or
cell 301-908-1790.

I look forward to speaking with you soon,
Thank you,

Sheila Clyburn
