EMR Physician Meetings

Harrisburg Health Information Exchange holding critical meetings



The Harrisburg Health Information Exchange will host two meetings this month to advance Electronic Medical Records, or EMR, technology between physician practices and health care providers.

Stanford University Medical School Captures $6.9m in NIH "Stimulus" Supplemental & Not Previously Awarded Grants

As reported in the San Francisco Business Journal ... Stanford University’s School of Medicine announced that it has been awarded $6.9 million in 18 projects related to federal economic stimulus funding.

U.S. NIST seeks proposals for $35 million in grants for measurement science

The U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) plans to award up to $35 million in grants and cooperative agreements for measurement science and engineering research. Twenty to 60 awards lasting from one to three years and ranging from $500,000 to $1.5 million will be funded by the grants, which are part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, i.e., "Stimulus" funding.

U.S. NSF (National Science Foundation) to Award $400M for Research Tools and Renovations

IBM Announces $2B To Cover Gap in High-Tech Stimulus Funding
