The imperative to pursue academic, government, industry collaboration in accelerating advanced medical technology translation

To sustain competitiveness recent studies indicate that we need to apply new models of life science collaboration between academic generators of innovation & IP, industry colonizers that take the risk out of innovation, consolidators that have global reach in distribution, marketing & access to public capital, and government for the funding of basic research/applied research and the regulation of new technology to the market.
