For DoD, It's Now Personal
The Department of Defense today announced the official launch of MiCare, the Military Health System's prototype personal health record (PHR), combining resources from Google® Health™ and Microsoft® HealthVault™. The pilot program rolls out at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, WA. If successful, it will ultimately migrate to DoD beneficiaries worldwide. Implications for PHR acceptance in the civilian sector are manifest.
