I am interested in the adoption of new technology and the barriers that impede it. The gap between available improved technology and its actual adoption is frustrating. I work to bridge this gap in medicine to create new products that will increase the quality of medical care, improve access by patients and reduce cost.

The "Valley of Death" has been well described that exists between prototypes at universities / small companies and a finished product that can be used by physicians.

The challenge of bridging this gap is where I have focused the last 20 years.
